Hoping to get a little help from my friends here.

Mike and I will be at Universal next weekend, and we have a buddy who will be in Disney on his own during the day on Saturday till his family arrives late that night. He'd like to meet us at Margaritaville for a late lunch (Ok, a margarita, really ), but he is pretty bad with directions, and Mapquest wasn't much of a help since I couldn't find exact street addresses for SSR or CW.

Can someone give me easy directions to give to him? He'll be coming from the Saratoga Springs Resort and he'll probably park in the CW lot.

Saratoga Springs: 1960 Broadway, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830

Citywalk: 1000 Universal Studios Plaza - Orlando, Florida 32803

But basically, if her friend can get out of WDW and onto I-4 towards Orlando, he should be able to find Universal very easy. I can't remember to I-4 exit, but it's easy on, easy off. I had a friend from Wisconsin who found Citywalk very easily and she is bad with directions!

Directions from phamton:
From I-4 Eastbound (Disney/Lake Buena Vista/Kissimmee):

1) Take I-4 East to exit 75A
2) Follow the signs to Universal Orlando's main parking garage

Bev gave you good directions though.
Another option would be to take down town Disney to SR 535 where the CrossRoads are.. at that light you make a left & get into the far right lane. At the first light light (Olive Gdn & Sheraton Safari) make a right. That is Palm Parkway. That will take you directly to the back of Universal. The name of the road changes but you do not turn.. it becomes Turkey Lake Rd. You will go thru the intersection of Sand Lake & Turkey Lake, once past that you will basically see Universal coming up on your right hand side. When you get to the 2nd light (I think, 2nd) after you go thru SandLake & Turkey Lake, the name of the street will be Hollywood Way.. you make a right there. At that light you will see Universal on your right & Dr. Phillips high school on your left.. ...this is an alternative to what Bev gave you.. sometimes depending on traffic on I-4, this back way can be faster... if I just didn't totally confuse you

Thanks, Sharon! I will pass along these directions to him as well. Mike and I are headed down this Thursday and we leave to head back home on Tuesday morning. Can't wait -- we haven't been there since September!

Ah, yes, I should never have implied he would be drinking and driving, but not to worry. We are going to meet up on Sunday when his wife will be able to join us, and she is not a drinker. Must be nice for him to be married to an automatic designated driver -- Hubby and I have to flip for it!
