ID # & PIN for new members???

We've been in the DVC system for about 3 weeks (and have made our first reservation for mid-October!). Since we've been members for such a short time (as are many of the other folks on this board), we're a little concerned that we may not get the new Web site ID & PIN in time by Wednesday!

Are we just out of luck until we get this information -- we certainly want to jump in on the action ASAP!

If you have not already received your ID#, I would say you might be right that you haven't been members long enough to get that automatically. I think you should call your guide and ask about it.

Could you tell me a bit more about guides? Is this the person that took care of our reservations? Are you supposed to use that person all the time? To my knowledge, we've not been assigned a guide!

If you purchased resale, you might not have a guide. If not, just call the main number to be assigned one. If you purchased from Disney, your guide is the person you purchased from.

We do have a 12-digit membership # -- is this the ID everyone is referring to??

Turns out we also have a guide from the times my DH called DVC to ask questions -- so that problem is solved!!

Sounds like I need to make a call to our guide Monday to find out whether he knows if our PIN has been sent...

Your member number is NOT your ID#. Each member and each person named on each contract was sent a seperate ID number earlier this week. Then later, we were sent our PIN numbers for log in. I would call our guide.
 
I will be calling our guide first thing Monday morning! Wish DVC had some weekend hours -- it can be hard to do all this calling from work!!
