I just got my August issue of Family Fun magazine and in it I saw a great idea for our kids to keep emergency info with them at all times.

Dottie Hemrick of Wheaton, IL writes....
"We were concerned that my then four year old granddaughter, Savannah, might get seperated from us at Walt Disney World, so I came up with this pretty way of making sure my daughter's cell phone number would be with Savannah at all times. I strung letter beads on a 16-inch piece of string to spell 'If found please call my parents at (phone number)', then attached a toggle clasp. Savannah adored her necklace and now wears it whenever she goes shopping or on preschool field trips. We recently made a second one for her two-year-old brother, Clayton, and her really likes his too."

I hope this helps! I am making one for my DD this weekend!

So.... if I looked ahead at the other posts, I would have seen that someone wrote about the same article as I did.....oops!

hey frstimer128...

Don't worry. I never saw the other post, and this is a great idea. If all the info about WDW only got posted once, there'd be a lot of lost information!!!

Just made these for my daughters. I did ankle bracelets instead of necklaces, though. We found a kit with elastic string and the number and letter beads at Micheal's for $6.99. It would make manyl bracelets.
