I joined this forum only a few months ago. I read everything I could find here because I was responsible for arranging a few things (Dining Reservations) for a Disney trip we just concluded on Friday. The information available here is invaluable. While my niece did most of the heavy lifting, I did have a few questions here that were answered quickly and accurately, and helped me look like I actually knew what I was doing!
We had 16 people attending, and with the insight I got here I can honestly say that we encountered zero serious mistakes or glitches in our Disney planning. Especially great because for some of the family members attending, it might literally be a once in a lifetime experience. And since it was a holiday week, the tips I found here made us realistic about the availability of Fast Passes and ADR's, so we made the most of things and we were not disappointed. And I snuck over to Animal Kingdom one night and got on line for FOP a little before Park Closing and I was able to experience this spectacular ride with a wait under 90 minutes. A very valuable tip I picked up here.
The internet has so much nastiness and snark. Forums like this show off how positive this medium can be. Users helping other users. What a simple concept.
So thank you all, including those who posted long ago. I believe I read every post over the last 2 years.
To you all, Have a magical life!!
