Dear All,

As I understand it, non US citizens have there passports taken off them at the start of the cruise and we will need some other form of ID for ourselves and the kids when we get to Nassau. What have people used before, as our passports are the only form of photo ID we have at the moment. We are thinking of getting a new UK photo driving license for ourselves, but are not sure what to use for the kids. :confused3

Thanks, Dave

Hi Dave

We've just got back from our 4th DCL cruise. For ID we got the new drivers licences with a photo on, and the children don't need ID

Here's the link to our recent cruise, I hope it helps

Come over and introduce yourself over on the UK Community Boards and the UK Trip Planning Boards too, and we'll try and help with any non-cruise queries you may have

Mandy :)

You can also take a photocopies of your passports (for each adult) with you , or ask the check in staff to copy them for you at the port before they take them away.

As Mandymouse has said , ID is not required for the kids just take your room key cards with you for each member of the family when disembarking at the ports.
