I thought I read somewhere that an ID needs to be current for a curtain time frame before/after a cruise. We are cruising 1 Apr on a 3 day and my both my daughter's license and military ID expires 24 Apr. I am working on getting her new military ID as she turns 21 and in college. If for some reason I can't get this done, can she still sail with her ID's expiring 3 weeks after our return. Thank you in advance, y'all are awesome.

For the Bahamas cruises all that required is that the ID be valid upon return, no minimum amount of time left requirement.

I renewed my drivers license a week before sailing. The port authorities at Castaway Didn't care one way or the other. I used a passport at Port Canaveral.
