Iced Coffee on property?

yep no kidding surprised the heck out of me! if your coming from downtown disney drive down hotel plaza blvd until you come to the mian gate(you will see the cross roads plaza) take a left at the main gate on to s.apopka vineland rd drive a mile more or less it will be on your left next to some big tee shirt gift shop

there is a dunkin donuts just outside of the main gate to wdw off of hotel plaza blvd on vineland road they have ice coffee it's just 5 min from downtown disney

I asked about a hundred people and they had no clue what a dunkin donuts was.:confused3 I am so happy I hope it is still there when we go in March I am going to have to save those directions. :rotfl:

In May of 2006, the refreshment stand to your right as you enter MGM had flavored iced coffee/slushy (don't remember exactly what it was). We were just happy we found any type of cold coffee drink. They weren't bad either.

I too am a big iced coffee fan. We stayed at the Polynesian last July and the iced coffe at the coffee bar outside the Kona Cafe is delicious. Every afternoon when we would come back for a break from the parks my husband and I would make sure that we got one.

There are carts around most of the parks now that sell Iced Coffee, lattes, slushes, etc. I can't live without it either.

There is a coffee stand in AK on the main path between EE and Flights of Wonder that had great coffee drinks, coffee slushies and awesome bite-size chocolate chip cookies. I think there is a DVC kiosk close by and also right across from the coffee stand is another stand for cold beverages.

AK seems to have other coffee places: Safari Coffee on Discovery Island and Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery next to Tusker House.

DH ordered one from the Royal Anandapur Tea Company stand near Everest. It wasn't on the menu, but they had ice and coffee and they certainly understood his request.

I do not like iced coffee because I drink it black with no sugar. Even great coffee tastes bad that way IMHO. :(

That said, my DW liked the iced coffee at Starring Rolls at MGM Studios this past May. The hot coffee at MGM's The Writers' Stop is pretty good. It is Nescafe, but it is made from freshly ground beans (or at least it was the last time I had it in 2006) ;). It was December so they did not have iced coffee at the time.

I also miss the Fountainview Cafe at EPCOT. :sad2: I hope that it reopens before our trip in December.

this was a hot topic for me last year at the world . i was able to get really good iced coffee at spoodles, Kona and CG. also, at the poly up near the monorail entrance is a coffee bar. I had an iv inserted and sucked down about a gallon.

i have my fixes all mapped out for this year, as i do not function in the am without it.....:thumbsup2

thank goodness you can get iced coffee all year round up here in new england from dunkin donuts!:thumbsup2

 I am love my ice coffee too! I think I'll make my own in the room so I don't have to hunt one down!
