Several years ago (about 9?) My husband and I were driving home to Maryland from a trip to visit family in Upstate NY. We stopped somewhere in Central PA along the road to have dinner at a restaurant that just happened to be the first place we saw when we were hungry. It was a dairy and they made their own ice cream that they served at the restaurant. The food was good, but the ICE CREAM was to die for! Fresh peaches in the peach - fresh strawberries....just heaven!
I had not had icecream like that since I was a small child. I made my husband go across the street to a gas station and buy a styrofoam cooler and bag of ice so we could take some home.
Anyway, we will be heading that direction soon and I would love to know the name of the place and look up the address so we can plan on going there. I don't even remember what town we were in, but my husband thinks it was near Lewisburg....I thought is was further north than that though. I know that if someone says the name it will ring a bell with me.
