I don't know if this has been covered - what is the new Club Cool suppose have inside of it? I hope they still have the free samplings! Yum, Yum. This is my son's favorite in Epcot...so were curious if anyone knows yet. Thanks a bunch.

Yes it is to have the free samples. We went the end of Aug. and we were so disappointed that it was closed then.

They will also be selling the build-a cup icee drinks that are now selling at DTD at Goofy's Candy Co. Not sure what other changes will occur though.

I was surprised to see it closed on last trip. I know my DH hoped it would reopen for this Oct trip - he actually *likes* the Beverly and wanted to surprise him Mom with it!

Hey, I used it as a nice break in the day and a quick free refreshment when in that neck of the woods. Hope it reopens soon!

I was also curious when it will reopen. We will be there Dec 15-21.

I was just on AllEars and they have updated and it says that Cool Club is to be open early 2006. So all those visiting over Christmas I think will be out of luck.

What are the build a cup icee drinks? My DD and DH are bonkers over icee drinks!

Does this mean that there's no more Ice Station Cool?

Sadly....Ice Station Cool is gone...never to reopen.

Club Cool will open in the old Ice Station location in early 2006. It will have the drink samples like the old Ice Station did, but some other things as well (not sure what....others may be more informed there).

Wow, that IS sad. We always looked forward to that ice house, as we call it. What a relief to walk in there, past the plastic flap of a door, touch the ice/snow on the walls, keep going and try out the drinks. It was a silly little place that will be missed. I'll even miss the name! Ice Station Cool! :cool1:

It would be great if they finally offered some of the sodas to buy! Who wouldn't love to bring home a can of Beverly to their loved ones? :teeth:

We live here in Florida and frequently visit EPCOT. Over the months leading up to Ice Station Cool's closure, it was no longer very cool in there. There was no ice, it was barely air conditioned. I'm anxious to see the new building when it is finished.

Oh, it was awesome to walk in there in the middle of summer when they had the ice and "snow" coming down. Talk about refreshing! Then you'd get to go in and have some complimentary soda. I already miss it, but hopefully Club Cool will be just as good as Ice Station Cool used to be.

Agreed. :sunny:

It's always tough to replace a classic.
