Ice Skating at DTD?

For the life of me I can't remember where I read it, but I heard that there was an ice skating area in DTD around Christmas time (obviously specially created!).

Is this true?
If so, tell me more!

Don't be too disappointed. When we were there a few years ago, we saw this and it was just a plastic-type rink (instead of ice) and you put on ice skates to slide across the slippery, plastic surface. Kind of lame, IMHO.

They did actually have ice, I know for sure in 2000. It was a portable type rink, though. And it was freezing cold that year.

Yes, it was between the rest rooms and Bongo's restaurant, in that big open space, and it had a tent sort of contraption over it.
