Hi everyone. I have read here before about an ice cream social at Epcot. I believ it is held at Garden Grill, sometime in the afternoon. I can not find any info about it anywhere. When is it held, what does it cost, and how can I make a ps when it doesn't seem to be listed anywhere?

It sounds like a nice break from park attractions. Anybody have any info? Thanks.

There are a couple of reviews on this site...

You can get a PS by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

I haven't gone to the ice cream social before, but I've got my PS for May :teeth:

We did this last year and really enjoyed it. If I remember correctly is cost around 6.95 per person. If you want drinks it is extra. There are two different ice cream treats one special for the kids and one for the adults. We had wonderful interaction with the characters. There was Pluto, Chip, Dale and Farmer Mickey. I felt it was well worth the price we paid.

As bunnyfoo said you call 407-WDW- DINE for Priority Seating and I think I made these 60 days before going.

This really sounds like a lot of fun - and DD loves ice cream!! I think we'll try it on our visit in October!!

My husband my daughter (she was just under 2 yrs. old) and I went to the ice cream social in September, it was our first time going. The icecream was pretty good, my daughter's icecream was icecream with a chocolate or partly chocolate dipped cone as a hat with candy around the plate.

The character interaction was great. Mickey, Pluto, and Chip came around twice! The characters spent alot of time with my daughter, giving her hugs and playing peekaboo. They were so friendly. They just stood there patiently as she pointed out their eyes and noses and mouths, she likes to do that for some reason. Some of our best pictures of my daughter with characters are from the icecream social because they spent a good amout of time with us and were so playful.

We thought the icecream social was inexpensive and a good way to see some characters and relax. I really liked the set up of the Garden Grille because the tables felt separated, not ontop of eachother or squished together.

My statement: Sugar-Free Ice Cream!!!!!!!! This allowed me to sit down and enjoy a WONDERFUL treat with DD. I cannot thank the person who told me about the SF ice cream to begin with enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Upon Request - the normal ones are normal!)
