Ice Cream Social Question

I'm thinking of doing the Ice Cream Social at the Garden Grill. It sounds like it would be a lot of fun. Me and DD's love ice cream, the problem is my DH won't touch it. What can I say, he has issues. My question is, will it be a problem if he doesn't order anything or does everyone in your party have to eat in order to book it?

I'm sorry but I don't have an answer to that question.

We just did the ice cream social over Labor Day. It was me, DH, DD-6, and DS-4. My son doesn't eat ice cream (he never has liked it). We still got the ice cream for all of us. It was so good that my husband and I ate ours and then we both shared our DS's ice cream. It was still worth it because it is still a bargain to get great ice cream and SUPER character meetings. The group of people at the ice cream social is so small that you get tons of time with the characters and they come by the table at least two to three times while you are eating.

There is one thing I would ask for next time. I would ask to be seated in the upper level. You can see alot more in the upper level. YOu can also watch the characters interact with other children while eating your ice cream. When you sit in the bottom level, you basically can only see the characters while they are at your table or right next to you. Just a little hint.

Have fun. It well worth it. We've done it twice so far and it is a must on future trips also.

We did this last year and it was awesome! The icecream is good, but I do know that they can make exceptions to this if there is a food allergy noted on the PS. They also would allow you husband to attend without paying for the icecream, but he would be charged a $5 entertainment fee. They still serve other food items during the icecream social too. We just stuck to the icecream and a Coke. The character interaction was worth more than the price of the event. Chip and Dale definately put on a show for us. Mickey and Pluto were great too!
