Ice Cream Sandwiches from Main Street Bakery?

My son adores ice cream sandwiches, and I hear the Main St. Bakery ones are the best on property, and the biggest! LOL!!!

All of the ice cream sandwiches are huge!! i always share one now whenever i go to disney! they're my favorite thing. I dont have pics though. I also love getting the beignettes from the French Quarter

Check out Sleepy Hollow too. They have funnel cakes and awesome ice cream sandwiches.

I try one last year I was very disappointed. The cookies was so hard I think they were baked 6 months before!

I just had one in Jan. I too was very disappointed. The cookie was hard and I ended up throwing almost all of it away.

Yes, I received mine in May '07 and used it as a snack credit, but again I was disappointed

Well, I can't open the picture, so I guess I still don't know how. Anyway, the Sleepy Hollow cookies are 2 large, fresh chocolate chip cookies with a good amount of ice cream in between!

We threw ours away - very disappointing. The cookies are rock hard, we couldn't even bite through it.

We get one from the Main Street Bakery every time we go. They are huge, and after the first time, we now share.

Sure, sometimes the cookies are a little hard, but really, that's a reason to throw it out? When it happens to us, we say it's like having three desserts in one! You've got an ice cream sandwich, you've got ice cream, and you've got a cookie! All for one price!

Do these ice cream sandwiches have cookie options? Are they only chocolate chip or can you get oatmeal or sugar cookies? Yum!

Sleepy Hollow is located in Liberty Square, just past the bridge that connects it to Mainstreet USA. They only have the chocolate chip cookies, but she's never been disappointed in how fresh they were there.

I'm going to sound like an old timer...

Back in the day, the cookies were a lot softer and chewier. Last few years they've been more done/harder/cripser. I long for the old days of the soft and chewy cookies.

I've not had one of these cookie ice cream sandwiches before...but I do know that most ice cream sandwiches are made with crisp cookies. It's the ice cream that eventually makes the cookie moist. ...learned that on the Food Network.

When I can't bite through a cookie without breaking my teeth it is not a fun dessert at all. It's gross. Rock hard stale cookies are not a dessert I enjoy eating. Life is too short to waste calories on that!
