Ice cream prices

Every so often Publix will have B&J BOGO, so I will be stocking up on Chunky Monkey later this week.

snagged the last chunky monkey for dh at a local store yesterday-we are having record breaking heat and the ice cream sections are looking shell shocked.

I really like ice cream. It’s second only to pizza. Best day is going out for really good pizza & ice cream after. I live in Georgia. Andy’s Frizen Custard cost us $24 for 3 people about 6-8 months ago. Ordered: caramel sundae, chocolate shake & concrete. Haven’t been back. Jenny’s ice cream is almost $10 for 2 scoops. Jeremiah’s Ice was $16 for 2 mediums mix thing & a small vanilla/chocolate twist cup. I’m in Nj right now(south jersey). A small Rita’s ice with ice cream was $5.25. Went to locally owned ice cream spot & cost was $22 for 4 people. We ordered a banana split, chocolate cone with sprinkles, gelato, & wet walnut sundae. My husband offered to take me out for ice cream tonight. He knows I live it. We are on a sort of vacation, visiting family do we’re splurging a little bit at home we’ve really cut back going out for ice cream. Note: I saw a video on Hoda & Jenna about a little girls complaining about the cost of ice cream from the ice cream truck. Think it was $9 for one item. She went on & on. She was adorable.

DH and I just paid $9.45 for a small waffle cone. Just ONE small waffle cone at a local stand on Main Street. Never going back to there again. The ice cream was fine but that is outrageous. $5 is about my comfort limit.
