If we wanted to get ice cream/ice cream sundaes at Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club- would this be considered a counter service or snack?? I am trying to figure out where this would fit in. Can anyone help me. We definitely would like to get dessert here one night and just want to know what it will cost us on the dining plan. Thanks so much.

On my dining plan brochure that I got on 6/24/06, it shows Beaches & Cream as a table service option only. I think you'll have to pay OOP for your ice cream there.

Why not try this... Make a lunch of it. Have a partner in crime and share a meal. An Ap, (salad, soup?) an entree (I hear the burgers are top- notch) and a dessert. 1 TS credit, and 2 full, happy bellies :thumbsup2

The burgers here are great....and the sundaes are HUGE! So definitely something you could share and only use 1TS! :thumbsup2

The counter service window of B&C is not on the dining plan at all--only the sit down service is on the plan. You must sit down and use a TS credit for do it on the plan.

If you come in and sit down, am I correct that you can pay for a sundae OOP? This DDP is new to me.

Yes. Last Sept I took my son and D-I-L there to try their Kitchen Sink. The first thing the waitress did was ask if we were on the dining plan then explained that they were a TS (not a CS as alot of people assumed) then told us we couldn't order the Kitchen Sink on the dining plan. No problem, as we hadn't intended to. I told her we wanted pay OOP and use my DDE card for the 20% discount. She acted relieved as if maybe alot of people had been giving them a hard time about Beaches and Cream being a TS and not a CS. With all the good places to eat in WDW, Beaches and Cream does not seem like a good deal on the DDP. I would definitely pay OOP for whatever I ordered there.
