Thanks,

Suzanne

We went to ICE! at Gaylord Opryland in Nashville last year. It was amazing! We really enjoyed it -- my DS loved the ice slides. However, we were on a short family Christmas trip. If I went at Disney, I wouldn't take time away from the parks and resorts to see it.

They do it here in Dallas too, but we are new. We hope to make it this year. I have heard it is fantastic!

It is very impressive but it doesn't take that long to walk through so for the cost AND the cost for parking...it's not worth it. Hit MVMCP instead.

Interesting, I didn't realize Gaylord did this in Nashville. That's better for us, it seems our WDW schedule is getting too full to be enjoyable, and we really do want to see ICE.

I'm going to see the Ice in Grapevine, Texas next weekend.
Don't forget your hats and gloves! They provide the coats. If you want to wear one of theirs.

My son's class did a field trip to Gaylord Palms Ice. I didn't go, but they all said it was amazing!

We also went to ICE at Gaylord Opryland in Nashville last December as a weekend holiday trip. We also saw the Rockette's at the Grand Ole Opry but I digress. Not knowing what to expect, my family really enjoyed ICE and took some great pictures. It was about a 1/2 hour wait to get into the building and they supplied large arctic coats that went over your existing winter wear and boy do you need that extra coat. We were only in the exhibit for 1/2 hour. Cost was around $ 50-60 for (2) adults & (2) children. It was something we will never forget.

We went to ICE! at the Orlando Gaylord Palms. It was neat, but not worth the $$ and the loooong line we stood it.

:thanks: I talked to Hubby and he said he thought it would be something different to see and to go ahead and book it. Our trip is fast filling up. We will be at MVMCP on the 22nd, the sleigh ride on the 23rd, the Osborne Lights on the 24th, The CP on the 25th and MK on New Years Eve. I will try to book the Gaylord Ice for Thursday leaving us with a couple of days to rest after hitting the parks for 4 straight days from opening to close. Does anyone know of any other Christmas Event happening in the Orlando area that we shouldn't miss?

Thanks again everyone for all your help.

Suzanne
