Hello, considering driving down from NJ. Prior to the pandemic I know that a lot of advice revolved around hitting Washington DC at off-hours or avoiding it altogether. Now that traffic patterns are somewhat changed due to the pandemic, does that advice still apply or would it be okay to take I95 from NJ? Thank you!

Good Morning, I live in Northern Va. I still suggest to plan for traffic. I suggest as early in the morning as possible. Travel safe!

Hi, in addition to early mornings, is late evening or later also okay?

I also live in Northern Va. and would totally echo this. Local afternoon traffic has been picking up and DH (who leaves about 6 a.m.) says traffic has been steadily getting heavier the last month in the early morning. Not sure what the evenings are like though since we haven't been out those hours.
