I40 closed between little rock and memphis?

Hi Everyone:

We leave for disney on May 19th. Anyone have any advice on whether we should change our driving route? We had planned on taking I40 through Arkansas from Tulsa to get to Orlando but the Interstate has been closed due to flooding. Anyone have the scoop on how long it is anticipated to be closed or how bad the detours are?

You should be fine. I believe the White river there is cresting today or tomorrow. I believe the interstate will at least start opening up within the next 2-4 days so you shouldn't have a problem

Thank you for the info. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the awful weather conditions of late will give people living in the southern states a long deserved break!
