I would love help making a list of dark nap places. Not necessarily dark I guess. I dont know. Thanks in advance!

Here is what I can think of:

Magic Kingdom--Ride the train. You can stay on as long as you like.
Hall of Presidents. Nice and dark, and pretty quiet.
Tom Sawyer Island.

Epcot--American Adventure. This is a great place for a little nap.

Sorry, that is all I can come up with.

If you are renting a stroller, take a blanket and let your child nap in it. We were always able to find quiet spots in all the parks. I can't remember where but it was usually near the back of the parks.

I was surprised at the places my dd3 fell asleep last trip. If she was tired enough, she would sleep anywhere and through anything.

My favorite at MK is Exposition Hall just to the right as you enter the park (like you're going into Tony's) - in the back is a little theater and it is usually desserted. I've brought a stroller thru there and then there are seats for you too!

Don't forget the absolute best nap spot especially at mid day (not crowded) is the MONORAIL! Comfortable, cool, quiet, calming and moving! and you can stay on it for a long time.

MK- The People mover is great when they say DS sleeping they allowed us to stay on until he woke up. ALso it gives us a rest and we can see what's going on.

Epcot- over by Test track there is a little nook behind the popcorn cart. it is dark cool and quiet. This may bother you a bit as the benches are cement. So bring a towel to sit on.

DHS- We still have not found a place here to nap

Animal Kingdom- Over by flame tree the further back you go it gets less crowded. We grab a snack if he takes a nap.

Now mind you this was the 1st year we went with him. Now we have learned our lesson and head back to the hotel for a FAMILY nap. I realized we all needed a nap;)

MK carousel of progress takes about 40 minutes I think

Um. . .
Epcot: Tommorow Transit Authority
Hollywood Studios: The Streets of America (bench under a tree or couch in shop; they also have cartoon televisions in some shops!)
Animal Kingdom. . . drawing a blank

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RIDE THE TRAIN FOR A NAP! Sure you can stay on fo as long as you want but it is LOUD taking off and our child (unless a VERY deep sleeper) will wake up and crankily too!

I second Exposition Hall in MK. We just discovered it on our last trip (and that was our 15th!). It was EMPTY, dimmed lighting and air conditioned. My dh actually hung out there while I took my dd to BBB.

I third Exposition Hall in MK. It is nearly always deserted and I was unable to find anywhere else that quiet in MK. DS napped twice there last trip.

DHS - we found the streets of America to be rather quiet around 10am, as long as you weren't back by the power rangers and the stunt show. We stayed more by the Writer's Stop coffee shop (where I had coffee of course!)

AK - we did not nap him here, but I think the trails around the tree of life would work.

Epcot - anywhere under the trees on the Imagination/Land/Seas side of Future World worked for us. Just avoid the breezeways back through Innoventions when the Jammitors are performing!

TTA is in MK, not Epcot.

and with the "upgrade" they are currently making you get off, go down and get back on :confused3

Carosel of Progress, good a/c Hall of Presidents - also pleasant napping - but I like the idea of the Exposition Hall - we like to take pictures back in there and watch the cartoons.. but with a little one, I could see them napping..

If you do the monorail the one to Epcot is a bit longer...

Epcot - Ellen's Adventure - its 45 min in the dark, on the ride I hear there are Dinosaurs, but we're always asleep by then!!

AK - Nemo show (I know - but it is cool in there, and dark!)

I have caught a couple of good naps during Muppets 3-D. (Love it but at day 9 of a vacations in August I caught a great nap unintentionally!)
- Mickeys Philharmagic 3-d in MK
- Epcots France movie
-American Adventure

Anyplace dark with a show around 15-20 min will work for me. These were not boring, I just was too hot and tired!

Not sure if this works at WDW, but this worked for us last year at Disneyland w/2 year old and 4 year old (plus I was also 5 months pregnant!).

The kids were usually ready to take a nap about 1 1/2 - 2 hours before a parade start. They'd both fall asleep in our double stroller. We'd grab snacks for DH and I. We'd then snag a picnic bench along the parade route easily and DH and I enjoyed being off our feet, chatting, snacking, and people watching.

The kids would then wake up, when parade announcer guy (over the speaker system :) ), was saying the parade is about to begin! I would love to wake up from a nap to a parade!

We're hoping to try this on our first trip to WDW with our kids--fingers crossed!

We did Universe of Energy when my ds needed a nap the last time we were there. He was out within minutes

She would just lay back and doze off for a little while and wake up ready to go. Often she would doze off right at lunch time and sleep through lunch. We just ordered her meal to go if we were at TS, and if we were at CS, we'd just wait until she woke up and get her something.

I have a few really cute pictures of her in her stroller, snuggled up with a new stuffed animal or sweatshirt, looking extremely happy!

I agree with the PP who also suggested finding a spot to watch the parade (in the shade if needed), getting yourself a snack, and letting the little ones crash there. We just threw a light blanket over the stroller and she'd sleep until parade time.
