I would like to apologize in advance..........

My DH is from Pittsburgh. His cousin was at last Saturday's game. He kept calling during the breaks and said he had about 3 heart attacks. If you can't be in the Burgh, I can't imagine a better place to watch the game than BWV. We'll be cheering the Steelers on from Tampa!

GO STILLERS!!!!! (That's Pittsburgese for those who don't know) :cheer2:

Lissa

We are also checking into SSR on Sunday and will be cheering the fabulous

STEELERS

on to victory. Apparently all these Patriot fans forget what happened just a few months ago at Heinz Field.

Ok ... now I am going to have to ask you to keep it down. I didn't mind the initial cheering at the start of the game because it only lasted about 10 minutes. But now those sobs and wails are getting annoying.

By the way, I just saw Bell Services on the way up with the safety nets so try to hold on for a couple more minutes. :earboy2:

And belsam - that is the difference between October football and January football

But all kidding aside, it was a great ride for the Steelers. It's a shame when the two best teams have to meet in a conference championship game instead of the Superbowl. I do feel bad for Betttis.

Did he jump????????????????????????

Hope this didn't put a damper on your vacation Skip...............now go and have fun!! The BUS has stopped!!! (ya, I do feel bad for him but I would have felt worse if the Pat's lost!!)!!

Let's hope the net was enough to break the fall. Oh well there is always next year, Enjoy your trip. Just think it could be worse, you could be at home getting over the loss. :)

but the BEST team is cross state from the Steelers.

GO EAGLES!!!

Terri :jumping2: :jumping2: :jumping2: :jumping2: :jumping2:

:grouphug: sorry for your heartache. Being a red sox fan most of my life, I all to well understand. But in my heart I am oh sooooo a Pats fan. :jumping3: :Pinkbounc :jumping4: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I was at Disney (staying at YC) when the Sox won the World Series. I could hear the roar from ESPN after each play, and especially the last out. It was actually a few seconds after each play that I heard the roar, as sound would take that long to travel across the water way.

Perhaps the groan will be loud enough to hear in Connecticut sometime tomorrow??? :teeth:

MG

PS- Thanx to the Steelers, and their fans for a great game. It's a shame that the two best teams can't compete in the Super Bowl. :drinking:

Skip Wiley

I really hope you did not need the net? But I'm soooooo glad the Sqeelers lost. It is mostly out of jealousy, you see you don't realize or have any clue what real pain and heartbreak is! You see I am a lifelong Brown's fan we know what real pain is, just look at our record for the past gazillion years.
(heehee)
hope this cheered you up a little? things could be worse! :rolleyes1

Skip,
The Steelers made it interesting in the second half. They had a good season. Now go and enjoy your vacation. I have to get ready for the SuperBowl!
Go PATS :cheer2: :cheer2:

So Skip....did they get the net up? When you play the Patriots, you should just stay on the ground floor!

No safety net, it was a bad fall (and it hurt), but we all agreed it's soooo much easier getting over the loss at WDW than at home. Back home it was -5 yesterday, and the TV, newspapers, and everyone was rehashing the game over and over and over. I haven't missed being at a home playoff game since the last Superbowl championship, and I know there is nothing worse than being at the stadium for a playoff loss.

I was once told the difference between a pessimist and an optimist is that when one thing goes wrong for a pessimist they feel it ruins everything in their life forever. My team lost, badly, but I still have a wonderful DW and DS, who turns 1 today, our BWV GV is b - e - a - utiful, the weather is great, and the parks are not crowded at all. MK today, and tomorrow I'll drown my sorrows around the world. Hats off to the Pats, they were the better team.

So sorry your team didn't make it! But oh so glad my team did. Congrats on a great season . . . Go PATRIOTS!!

What a good sport you are Skip!! Now go and enjoy your son's first birthday at the most magical place on earth where everyone is a champ!!!!

BTW...........I can't get enough of the news here!!! LOL!!

Skip - You are absolutely right! Better to be where you are! I was going for the Pat's though, being as Tommy has maize and blue blood. I just have to say Hats off to You! What a great sport you are! Enjoy the rest of your trip!
