I would gladly sign up for the official events at DISCON but...

First of all let me say that I really appreciate all the effort that has been put into this planning but I must say I don't think I will be getting the official events because I will not get into Orlando until mid morning of December 5th which means I would miss the opening reception and breakfast the next day. Honestly it would be a waste for me to pay $225 for a dinner buffet , a dessert party and a farewell breakfast , so as much as it kills me to not register for the official events , I think I'm just going to stick with the unofficial events. I'm sorry , I don't mean to be whiny or anything but I was kind of hoping that there would be a choice for those of us who can not go the entire four days but who were still willing to participate on part of the events.

Marsha, if I am not going to the official events is because in all honesty it's expensive for me to pay full price for half of the events, I was hoping that maybe something for the people going only the weekend could be worked out but I guess it wasn't meant to be. So as you said, we will still do a lot of mini meets and have tons of fun, that's just as good to me!
