I remember e-mailing DH when it was 98 days!!! I can hardly believe it's almost here!! Now we just need to finish packing, and make it through the next days with out the kids finding out our exact date. They know we're going, just not how soon!!!

Hey, Harambe! Warm up AKL for me, ok?

Now, don't forget to try my most favoritest (is that a word? ) thing in the whole wide wdw... ready? Ok... here it is!

1. One evening, after a great day... head down to Victoria Falls Lounge and order up a Strawberry Daquiri. Tip well.
2. Head back up the short staircase to the lobby level and over to the fireplace. Grab a chair (or two), sit down, move the chair close enough to rest your feet (with shoes, please) on the edge of the stone, warm your toesies and reflect on the day.

Got it? Now, to make it even more perfect, you might want to have some sort of chocolate Mickey treat from the Confectionary, say a Mickey Pretzel or Mickey Turtle. But that is not necessary, the Daquiri is!

Have a GREAT time and warm them up! I'm coming down SOON!

Oh, I forgot! Every time you enter the lobby, take a deep, wonderful smell of BOMA and everytime you leave, rub the stone between the two inner doors for good luck!

Now Zakatak - how wonderful does that sound!!! The kids are doing Simba's Cubhouse one night over the MLK weekend, and DH and I are going to follow your advice to the letter!!!!

Sounds like a great idea with Simba's Clubhouse. I've found that if we time it just right, Simba's costs as much as Boma would for the kids and they don't have to sit through a "boring, long" dinner (they can eat while having fun!). Hey, AND as a bonus, you and dh can go to the buffet at the same time ! Whoa...

If your kids are old enough, they have a cute "jr. ranger" program at AKL where a guide will give the kid(s) a research sheet for an animal they pick out from the savannah and they are to mark down each time the animal does "stuff" (eat, move, poop, lay down, etc)... my son had a blast doing it! They get a certificate and a pin, I think. It doesn't take too long, maybe 20 minutes?

I hear they now have the zebra domes down in Mara... can you check that out for me? If it is true, that is a vital piece of information I need to know!

Have a GREAT time! Oh, I am so excited for you! Here is how crazy I am... for Christmas I received personalized license plates on my Sienna that read... "BOMA".

Zakatak, they definitely do have zebra domes in the Mara. I was there a month ago (one month ago today I was checking into the AKL how I miss it). Anyway, I digress, they come in a pack of 3 zebra domes and 2 chocolate mousses (or 4 and 3 - I forget exactly).

Thanks everyone - and GREAT NEWS! DS, who got pnuemonia last weekend, was given a clean bill of health by his doc today, and the okay to travel next week!

I've just got to keep all those nasty WDW germs away from him! I will be pickled, of course, so I don't have to worry about it!
