I wonder... (requests)

Just got a confirmation in the mail from a ressie I made last week.

I made two requests for our studio. (This is for BCV.)

One, non-smoking for medical reasons.

Two, non-handicap for a tub.

The confirmation only shows the non-smoking request, not the non-handicap request.

I called and asked if the non-handicap request showed and was told it did.

I wonder why it didn't show up on my confirmation? It has showed up before...


I'm wondering this cause of recent comments regarding requests and BCV.

Can't help you but I would not want to be the person who answers the phone who is working the desk if you get a HA room !!!

I was wondering the exact same thing. I booked a two bedroom for December dates at Saratoga and requested NS, Non handicapped due to the fact that we will have 4 children under the age of 5 with us (NOT all mine ) and I was concerned about safety. Anyway, NS request shows up on our confirmation but non H/A does not.

The medical request is (somewhat) "guaranteed" but the non H/A is only a request. Both show up on the computer, but only the first one is backed up by listing on your reservation.

LUCKILY, all is well with the world and we got a different room that was just swell.

What resort was that Shan? I just can't see any reason at all for this happening. With only about 5% smoking rooms, there has to be some that open up! Must have been a "naughty" CM on duty that day.


And re: not on the confirmation. I'm not sure in this case, but I have a ressie for CSR and one of the requests isn't on there. They told me that they have certain ones that are "in" the system and they show up, and the non-traditional ones "the special wording" dont'.

I have NS for Med, pool view and high floor all listed on my BCV ressie. SO it has nothing to do with a guarantee.

eh. Doesn't really matter as long as they say they see it. You might want to email MS and get it in writing to put with your request.

Nancy, it was at VWL. Really we ended up with a great room, but I'm wondering if we had gotten there later would we have been stuck with a smoking room??? We arrived around 4:30.
