No, any upgrade must be done within 14 days of first use, regardless of whether or not the days expire.

do you think you can apply the GAD AND the UT tickets?

We are only going to be at WDW for 3 days before our GAD tickets expire. DH just wants to upgrade the GAD tickets at the park.

I'm wondering if we can purchase the UT tickets and then apply the GAD discount to the upgrade price also??

No, you can only upgrade one for one - so you could upgrade a UT purchased pass or a GAD pass to pass of greater value, but not BOTH for one new pass.

True, it never hurts to ask! In 1999 I had a PH that had 2 days remaining (out of 5) and went to upgrade the remaining days to an AP. (this was still possible at the time) The CM swiped it and said he was applying $X to the price of the AP, with X=the original price of the 5-day PH. I told him no, I only had 2 days left and he winked and assured me their computers don't make mistakes. Who am I to argue with that?

Well I wonder if we can do this too. We can purchase discounted military passes at SOG or military bases. I am not talking about the special Salute ticket that is 99 right now. That can't be upgraded. SO.....If I go to the SOG website and see what their prices are compared to gate I might save even more than going through UT. Hmmmmmmm I guess I will have to punch the numbers.
