Got an email from Lifetime that I won a prize in their "It's a Wonderful Lifetime" Sweepstakes.

It's either a check for $1000 or 5 dvd's of Lifetime Christmas movies. Gee, I wonder which it is? BUT on the off chance that it's $1,000, I think I'll send the affidavit in.

I got an email yesterday saying that my dvds had been shipped. And that the "check portion of my prize may take up to 16 weeks to process". So did I actually win both? Looking for the dvds and praying the check actually comes. That would be great for our vacation!

Oh, and there was a Fed Ex tracking number that I checked and it said the package had been picked up & was being processed.

I'll update later when I find out more. Fingers crossed!!!

Hope you get the check too....and don't forget to save the forms showing the estimated value for taxes next year. We hardly ever win anything, but we did win 2 Mtn bikes once. We didn't claim them, they were valued at 800.00 EACH!!! We would have never been able to sell them for that and the tax at the end of the year on them wouldn't have really been worth it for us....since we never bike.

I got the check today! THANK YOU Lifetime TV for the vacation in June! It will pay for our condo rental & some of our food or activities! YAY!!!
