I wish that my mom could have seen the ice skaters my 2 nieces ages 6 & 10 are turning into. She always loved watching skating but she nor any of her 8 kids ever skated. I gave the girls each 6 weeks of lessons for Christmas 2014 after they expressed an interest. Both have continued and are now taking private lessons and competing on a local & regional level. The 6 year old is moving up levels very quickly while the older one is making steady progress. They've both medalled in all of their competitions so far. I don't see either of them as being Olympic material but they love it and know their families are proud of them which is what counts.

my pain management Dr. could find a way to treat the constant pain I have so I could walk through a grocery store. This has been going on since last thanksgiving. I have had two injection and they haven't worked. I will be seeing my Dr. this wed. The problem is my sacrocilliac. Not sure of the spelling but you'll get the idea.

I wish I had enough money to pay off DD's school loans and our car loans. $40K would do it. I know that seems like not a whole lot to many people, but it would change the way we live. (because we are in the group to whom $40K seems like a lot of money)

I hear you. An extra 40 would put us on easy-street. Not "quit the jobs and retire to an island" easy, but easy enough KWIM?
