I wish....... ?

Wish my neuropathy would go away. I'd even settle for a few hours of being pain free and having feeling back in my arms and hands. :(

...that I was flying somewhere right now.

That I was going on a Cruise in the near future. However, I do not like flying so... it"ll need to be within driving distance to the port which pretty much means the Eastern Seaboard above N. Y. state! ...sigh.

I hear you. An extra 40 would put us on easy-street. Not "quit the jobs and retire to an island" easy, but easy enough KWIM? ;)

Yup. It'd be enough that I wouldn't lie awake at night, trying to figure out what to trim from where so we can pay the bills this month. Of course, an extra $10K would make me deliriously happy- but $40K would let me sleep at 2am.

Fortunately, we're not in this position and I sleep fine. I "wish" something changes for you soon. :flower3:

How do you get to WDW if you don't fly or drive south of New York?

Not to WDW.

My wish was for a "Cruise" out of N.Y., Bayonne, or Baltimore all comfortable driving distances. I see looking back I posted above instead of just below N. Y. State.

I wish I had enough money to pay off DD's school loans and our car loans. $40K would do it. I know that seems like not a whole lot to many people, but it would change the way we live. (because we are in the group to whom $40K seems like a lot of money)

Okay, this isn't about my parents, or world peace. But I just have too...
A couple years or so ago, even though we are not huge baseball fans at all, after a long time on the waiting list, my DH considered buying season tickets to the CUBS, mostly just as speculation. We got the call, and he didn't do it.
Didn't do it.
Arrrrrgggghhhh!!!!!

Hindsight is always 20/20!

Right, I got the part about the cruise. I was just curious since this is a Disney-centric message board, presuming you've been there, how you got there.

That my parents could have grown old together

Me too :(. We just lost our 92 yr old Dad, but my Mom died almost 26 years ago. I so wish they could have grown old together. But I am happy they're together in heaven now, so happy about that :).

Sorry for my misinterpretation, I didn't think we were wishful thinking all things Disney. We did cruise with Royal Caribbean (Enchantment of the seas) out of Baltimore in 2011 which is a 7 1/2 hr drive from here with a port of call of Port Canaveral. They had a day excursion to WDW by bus but, we chose Cocoa Beach instead as we thought a partial day trip too short for the World. :goodvibes
