I wish it was last year

my 6yo said that to me last night. She wants it to be last year because she was in Pre-K, only two hours a day, and I drove her there and picked her up. Last year, on Tuesdays, she went to her best friends house to play all afternoon til dance class at 3:30. Last year mommy wasn't working (albeit I'm only working pt, 3 hours a day in the middle of the day). Last year we were two months away from heading to Disneyworld.

Sigh...sometimes, I wish it were last year too. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, and dd is doing wonderfully in kindergarten, but last year was just less stressful.

Blah...it's just the mid-winter blues, I know....I'll get over it.

It is a big change from pre-school to kindergarten, plus adding working and all of your lives are much busier. Since you are working, hopefully you'll be able to get back to WDW soon.

My dd sometimes tells me that she wishes she was still a baby because people love babies more and treat them better. Just about breaks my heart.

(I think she was only saying that because babies don't have to clean up after themselves lol)
