Small amount of glitter (to put in my daughters bath towel to show her tink was there)

That is a really cute idea :)

Don't forget the Lysol wipes and the Hand Sanitizer! I also bring my own shampoo and bar soap, cannot stand the hotels.

Oh man, I have so many "must haves"!!! ;)

a fan for noise
laundry tablets and quarters
kitchen trash bags for dirty laundry
fanny pack
an extra phone cord for my laptop
plenty of batteries for walkie talkies and pal mickey
chargers for our cell phones and digital camera
phone number list, including local AOL #'s for dialup
ziploc bags, sandwich size and freezer size, good for all kinds of things
quarters and pennies for pressed penney machines
expensive light-up toys for nights at the park (so we don't have to buy new ones for every trip!) ;)
my lime green ribbon!
extra duffle bag for "unexpected" purchases
mickey ponchos!!!! (don't want to buy those every trip either) ;)
first aid kit
sewing kit, safety pins
cold medicines for us and the kids (someone is always bound to get sick)
other assorted medicines for all kinds of problems ;)

Boy, I could go on and on........ :rotfl:

Bottle stopper. We usually take a nice bottle of wine and invariably don't finish it. So I bought a bottle stopper and keep it in the suitcase. That way, we don't have to do this...:drinking1

Shops that sell Pal Mickey will replace his batteries at no charge to you.

Oh- I always bring that extra duffle bag- I KNOW to EXPECT unexpected purchases! LOL! I have one that is just simple nylon with handles, no frills, smushes into nothing to leave with and is our 3rd bag going home!

Oh, watch out when you store your ponchos- i smushed mine into freezer bags- great for toting around park, but when I went to get them out for our next trip one had mold all over it, I washed it in bleach and nothing seems to work- be SURE its completely dry before storing.

I always take one EXTRA pair of walking shoes when I go to DIsney. I find that a full day of fast walking even in the most comfy shoes leaves my feet tired, and putting on the same pair just doesn't cut it the next day.

I try to pack extra baggies and a few LARGE bags for anything from leftover cut lemon to dirty laundry (tho not in the same bag of course :rotfl:

Now I must remember to pack my pixie dust!
Co Belle

A fitted queen sheet. I hate it when the sheets ride up on the hotel beds. Makes for a much more comfy stay :flower:

Just some hints in case you forget:

You can usually find an extra plastic trash liner or even a roll of liners under the liner in a trash can. That's how I found a plastic bag for my wet bathing suit. ;)

Also, you can usually get a small sewing kit (for free) from the front desk.

A sweater or a light jacket - especially after the sun goes down... It can get chilly.

I wished we had remembered to pack the antibacterial wipes. Also, I will now always remember to pack 3 bathing suits because even though I am going into the pool, I do not like to put on a cold wet suit! It takes a full day to dry out a suit, so even having 2 with you wasn't enough if you pop in and out of the pool on a non park day.

I wish I had packed a power strip for my room. With so many electronic devices, I used every outlet.

Digital Camera
Digital Camcorder
Laptop
Cell Phone
Pocket PC

I also wish I had a can of air freshener for the bathroom. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :goodvibes

A blender heh I hate having to go all the way to a bar to get a frozen drink =/

--Extra 35mm film. We used 15 rolls on our 1st trip with the kids.
--Extra Hi-8 film for camcorder. (Actually, I packed it, but lost it.) I paid more than twice the price at Disney.
--Extra battery for camcorder.
--Extra memory card for digital camera.

There's and excellent packing list on All Ears Net

My DH brought our large size cooler, it measured just right for a carry-on. The sides are soft but the inside had plastic so when we got to our room,he filled it with ice. On the way home it was purfect for our suvoniers, they did not break or move around much.

Sorry, I just reread the title of the original post which read: for my resort room..... Please disregard the 1st part of my response.
