We always get a car from the airport and stop at the grocery. I print "AIR FRESHNER" in large letters at the top of my list. We think it's a staple.

The second trip I wish I had remembered to pack a zip lock with pepto,Prilosec,excedrin,tums,advil.

I keep a small can of concentrated aif freshener from Bath & Body works in my suitcase always. WDW hotels are generally okay but when I had to travel with DD's to All Star cheer competitions some of the places we stayed ,whew! I remember one place was so bad (comfort inn, ) that I kept a travel candle lit the entire stay and it was a non smoking room! My girlfriend actually took off to Walmart (no target in this town ) to buy shower shoes/flip flops for her and her daughter because her carpet was so nasty. Get the picture: middle class sheer mom & two DD's pull up to this motel in European sedan and immediately spot Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise (yeah right!) one in a undershirt like Stanley in Streetcar, the other gloriously shirtless in January in the TN mountains, standing in an open doorway chugging PBR from the can at 3 in the afternoon while scratching an imaginary itch on their belly (or feel free to insert another part of the anatomy). Kids immediately look at me look to mom and go "we want to go back to the Renaissance (hotel in Atlanta that last competition was close to!) Fast forward to another mom securing her outside corridor door with a chair while I had the inside corridor room with the smells. One family pulled up in their car (hummer), DH took one look and said "not no but he** no!" I was stuck because as a mom without dad on this trip I didn't relish the idea of being in a strange city in a strange hotel without anyone else I knew around me. After that trip I felt the need to travel with a .357 Magnum and a can of LYSOL! This is a true story by the way!

Next time I'm packing a folder for all of the paper stuff I like to keep. (Resort maps, postcards, Pony Express Certificate from Whispering Canyon, napkins, stickers, etc.)

I also always find myself wishing I'd brought a book to read at night when I'm trying to fall asleep.

And air freshener is definitely a good idea!

I learned/remmebered a few things when I went to Disney in Fall 04 I wish I had packed soft toilet paper, soft klennex, extra hangers, and clothes pins. When I went down in Jan 05 I UPSed all of that to myself...it was so nice to have soft toilet paper/klennex and I was able to hang all of my pants/tops up for easy viewing.

White noise maker/blocker. Lysol. Extra shorts(it was unusually warm that week), extra socks. More hand/body lotion.

I LOVE the power strip idea! I am travelling with 3 other adults next month, and we will all have digital cameras and cell phones......... (we will be at WLV in a 1BR)

Epsom Salt and a plastic type pan (for feet). I use it at home for a rough day, wish I would have thought of it last trip.

the ubiquitous grocery store plastic bag-for wet clothes, shoes, or swimsuits that need to travel back home in your suitcase. (Didn't want to use the fancy Disney shopping bags for dirty, smelly swimsuits!)

A duffle bag or something soft and foldable that can hold all the stuff I seem to acquire while I am there. And then I wonder how we got it all to fit in the suitcases down there but not on the way home

I also use those travel spacesaver bags. HUGE help and saves a lot of room in our suitcases.

Oh-and also, a roll of quarters and a baggie of laundry soap for doing laundry (just my luck-change machines usually empty when I need them). I think laundry soap boxes cost $1 or $2/ load at the vending machine in the laundry rooms at the resorts! Each load for the washer or dryer is (I think) $2.00. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
