I Will NOT Wear Gauchos!

Went out shopping today to start working on the spring wardrobe.

Aaackkkk!! Gauchos are back. I had seen a few people wearing them over the past month or two. Well, I went shopping and they have EXPLODED on the scene.

I hated them in the 70s and I hate them today. I have yet to see anyone that they look good on. Why are they doing this?

I'm probably in the minority but I LOVE them... pair them with a great pair of knee high boots and I don't think you could look bad!!!

I liked them with boots too. I had a pair that I wore with boots and a vest and I liked it.

I love Gauchos. They are so comfortable. I have a few pairs I have worn for the winter and I am sure I will get a few pairs for spring/summer. I do believe you have to wear them with the right shoes though. I work with someone who wears her Gauchos with flats and her bare legs showing. Its still winter here-just doesn't work for me.

I lvoe them too man. I am going to get some and some boots. But it s probably getting too warm for that. I love stuff.

Ohhhhhh but do they come with vests that have feathers and beads on them? I never liked them, but I can't believe I am admitting this, I did have a goucho set. They were the faux suede, a lovely shade of brown and the vest had those wonderful feathers and wooden beads on the ties of the vest. I would pair them with my wooden wedge sandels and those fabulous feather earings that were so the style in the seventies.

Mine was a winter set in a plaid that I wore with a solid matching vest and a light mock neck sweater. I thought that I was so hot.
