1. Tupperware/candlelite/at home america parties.
2. Wal Mart...I HATE that store...but sadly its the only store we have.
3. Cleaning the bathroom...I do it...but I HATE it!!

I don't like the tupperware/pampered chef/ candle/ whatever parties where you're expected to buy something. It just seems like a way to use your friends to make some money or get free gifts.

The same holds true for graduation parties for kids I barely know.

Yes, who had a 20 minute ceremony. Not a 75-90 minute ceremony that was also a mass. Big difference!

The months that I live up to the lake I will not leave for: weddings; bridal showers; baby showers; birthday parties; wakes; or funerals - unless it is someone extremely close to me..

Other times of the year I will do anything to not go to my DD's IL's for Thanksgiving Dinner.. This year I'm babysitting a dog that is recovering from surgery..

Dentist - If I actually make it to the office I generally bail if let to sit for more than about 30 seconds. I can't even take the kids, that is DH's chore.

AMEN! I can't stand watching other people's kids unless they are my DD's friends and they can entertain themselves. I don't mind my kids having friends over as long as they all get along BUT I don't want to babysit. I did plenty of that in middle school.

Call me a bad Mom but I also loathe going to any school field trips or class parties. I have no desire to be part of the Mom cliques and the teachers always give me grief because I have to bring DS with me if I do attend a class party. I get horribly carsick when I ride the bus and the school policy won't let parents drive their own cars on field trips.
