for the flower show. The topiaries were wonderful - very creative and very amusing. The flower beds were just ordinry annuals for the most part. (BTW we had lunch at leCellier - first time I have been there and it was terrific.)

Bought a plumeria cutting for $8.00. I have been wanting one. The one in the nursery here is very old and really looks like just big sticks - until it flowers. The flowers and the FRAGRANCE are wonderful. We have to bring it in during the winter - it cannot take the cold - BUT during the winter it goes dormant and does not need (and cannot have) lots of sunlight and most specifically no water. The demonstrator said the only way you can kill them is with too much water. It may bloom this year - will bloom next year. I can't wait.

Plants are starting to grow now - FINALLY. Still having problems with the roses. I think I won't have roses in Florida. The jasmine and gardenia and magnolia are blooming and the fragrance from the jasmine and gardenia are indescribable. Just heavenly. I need color. I cannot look at your pictures of tulips and iris. I miss them so much. As for lilac-----------There is one in Wayside's catalog that they say does well in the south but the people on my garden forum say it lives, but doesn't do anything else. Since Wayside claims certain plants do well in my zone and White Flower Farm says they don't, I am skeptical of Wayside's claims and too cheap to risk it.

If anyone wants to try plumeria I will dig up a website for you - or go back to Epcot and buy and ship them to you.

Thanks for the report....:D

Can't wait to go next week!

Yes -- thanks for the report! I'm really looking forward to seeing the flowers.

I can't wait to go next week, also! I have Disney on the brain, I'm having trouble thinking of much else...
