(remember that one?) and Richard came in the room and saw Olivia Newton-John singing and dancing. Then he asked..."Why is Brittney Spears in that movie?" ROFL!

LOL! One of my favorite movies of all times!

Olivia is much prettier than Brittany (too bad there aren't many kids that would agree with me!)

:teeth: Thankfully, that movie was pre-Britney.:teeth:

I've never seen that movie.:o I want to though.:)

I loved that movie. I havn't seen it in forever.

Britney has nothin' on Olivia Newton-John.

And she hasnt lost it either!!!
she is so slim and feminine:D even after having kids !!!!

You should rent it, Shannon. If Keith were here, he would tell me that it's a "chick flick." ;)

Beauty and Olena...I agree with you both! :teeth:

That's for sure, MM2. She still looks great.

And Megan's Mom...I couldn't help but think about that as I was watching the movie. She's something else.

I had the soundtrack to that movie. I used to play it all the time. :D

I think I wore that one out myself. :teeth: I still love ELO.

I actually have CDs of

Grease
Xanadu
and
Grease 2

in my truck right now, along with Disney Disney Disney, DH rolls his eyes when he has to go somewhere with me!

Xanadu was the first prerecorded videotape that I ever purchased. I seem to recall it costing me close to $70. And it was worth every penny. Xanadu was one of the first movies to come out on Laserdisc, so I bought the movie and a player. Can you see a pattern. When Xanadu came out on DVD, I bought the DVD.

There's something magical about that film. I can watch it over and over. Did you know that the two large flower urns in one scene were actually on display at the Great Movie Ride? (I had to work in a Disney connection).

Isn't it funny how sexy everyone thought Olivia was? Compared to Brittney she was dressed like a nun.

Remember that "Let's get Physical" video? She was in a leotard doing aerobics and getting all sweaty - that was kind of in-your-face sexy for the times.

Oh well, I guess I'm just jealous... I'm much closer to Olivia's age than Brittney's. If the exchange-your-body fairy asked I'd trade Brit!

Everyone sing with me.. "Xanadu, Xanadu, now we are here..."

Loved that movie - it was like The Little Mermaid - on roller skates! ;)

I loved that movie too! I'm a big Olivia fan.

As a side note, was Britney even BORN when that movie came out???

OH, don't remind me how nuts I went when this movie came out in the movies in Spain.
I have seen it several times, and I still like it!

I know I saw it but I don't remember it. I'll have to see it again.

Wow, TC! I bought the DVD last month from my DVD club. Couldn't go wrong with a half-price sale. ;) I remembered when I saw it in the theaters and loved it. It sure cleared out some cob webs. LOL!
