OMG LOL I hope I can make you feel better by saying that my friend and I were staying at the Coronado Springs Resort and she went down the water slide at the resort and her top came off during her entrance to the water, just whipped right around her neck (she was wearing a two piece bikini) and she's *healthy* and just had *surgery* get it.....so as the lifeguard is shouting at her (she couldn't grab her top fast enough) she's trying duck under the water and all the men at the tiki bar are applauding, and needless to say, we had a few free cocktails....so I hope this makes you laugh and not feel as bad....but thanks for making me laugh and think of my friend again.....

oh my. even when i was in the ocean in mexico the waves almost ripped off my top of my one piece. you have given me another reason not to go on water rides. i only do the lazy river and will continue. good thing no one knows you there so its not like you were at your home pool. i'd go have a large drink after that.

On one of my trips to WDW, I forgot to pack my swim suit. I decided to buy one in the village, only mine had no straps. It was at River Country and we were only riding the lazy river, when I looked down because I could not figure out why the CM was looking at me so strange and lo and behold I was hanging out. But at least I did not lose my suit....how embarrassing!

Oh great, so now this can remind me of my debacle last year at Vero Beach. My husband and son just had to get me in the water to jump the waves because they thought it was so much fun. So, I get caught by the biggest wave of the day and thrown on my knees to the sand which was really not sand at all but jagged shells. As I'm dealing with the blood gushing from my knee and the agony of salt water all over the open wound, I suddenly realize I am completely uncovered on top. And I just know the 4 little old men on the beach sitting in front of me must have been in shock. I just hope they had poor eyesight.

I can't believe I have told this story. It was supposed to be a secret.

That was hilarious! Loved reading your story. It doesn't seem fair when a one piece suit doesn't stay up!

I've been to water parks before when I've seen women wearing bikinis lose their tops, but I never thought in a million years I'd have trouble with a one piece bathing suit. I did at that water park on 192 about 8 years ago. They had a ride that simulates a wave & you ride a boogie board on it. All at once I ended up right in front of one of the wave machines, the water gushed down the front of my suit & it pushed my one piece suit down below my hips. If I hadn't grabbed my suit I'm sure it would have been completely off. I can remember thinking that I could either balance on the board or keep my suit & I decided to do the latter. I think a lifeguard thought I was drowning because I let the board go, grabbed my suit to pull it back up & refused to lift my head to breathe until the suit was back in place. A lifeguard came up behind me &, she asked me if I was I was ok. I never went back to that ride again. I just can't believe that you can lose a one piece bathing suit like that.

OP, I told your story to my MIL and her best friend a few weeks ago, and we were all !!!!!!!!!! We are all "large and/or large on top" ladies so we were imagining that happening to us!! Knowing my luck it will happen to me at some point!!!!!

This is what happened to me just the other day..

I went to the supermarket for a few things. It was a hot day and I was wearing a silk sundress which ends mid thigh. I had on a bathing suit but decided to take it off and just go without underwear (mistake #1).

My Dh just bought me a new pocketbook for my birthday. It's the Hobo slouch style shoulder bags. I had it on my shoulder and unbeknownst to me the bag hiked up my dress in the back. Yup! There I was in King Kullen walking aorund with my a$$ hanging out with the back of my dress hitched up on my purse. I did not know it until I got to the frozen food section and felt a breeze on my rear. Lots of people saw it too, but how could you tell a stranger that their a$$ is showing. It must have been seen on the security camera's too.

Good thing I don't embarass easily....
