I was so lucky tonight

We went to the mall and ate at the food court. I put my pocket book on the back of my chair - and forgot about it. Gene noticed about a half an hour later that it was missing. I contacted security and someone had turned it in - and NOTHING was missing! What a relief! I've never done that before. Whoever turned it in must have been a Disney fan.

I'm still smiling. I never expected to see the money again. I'm glad to find out that there are still decent, honest people around. I would have returned it, but there are a lot of people out there who would have kept the money.

Shannon, Gene is feeling much better. I can tell because he's golfing again.

On our last trip to WDW, my sil lost her wallet. She thinks she left it on the last bus they rode. She came home, renewed her license, cancelled credit cards, etc. She had, I think, around $200 cash, and a few other things was in her wallet. A week or so after they got home, she got a package in the mail. Her license, her cc's, her cash and everything else was in it.

I'm glad Gene is doing better. How's his golf game?

That's a real 'feel-good' story and, I'm sure you're soo relieved!

I rarely have cash but, the thought of cancelling and renewing license, bank card, credit cards, etc. would be worse than losing any cash I might have.

Did the do-gooder leave a name for a possible 'Thank you'?
