How heat exhausted was I?

I was so heat exhausted yesterday that, after watching a British Revolution show, instead of walking all the way to the Epcot Bus Stop,I exited the IG and rode the Friendship to the DHS Bus Stop!lol:)

Elsa,we need some help down here!:)

Smart move! I remember one year watching Illuminations w/ DH and DD, at the time, 6 yo. We were watching from somewhere near "America", sitting on a bench. DD fell asleep and DH had to carry her to the monorail. I really thought he was going to die. We had been in the park since 8am for breakfast (took quick break back to hotel to shower/change for dinner). He was so tired he could not carry her without stopping literally every 5 steps. This is a guy in construction carrying heavy granite around all day. I was completely weak and useless from all the laughing I was doing. Every time he saw a bench, he would sit for 10 minutes. Im laughing now just thinking about it. Must have taken us over an hour to get back to the monorail at the front of the park!!

Im not even going to tell him about the IG this upcoming trip. DD is now 11 and weighs almost 100 lbs!!

What a great idea - how far is the walk from the friendship boat to the bus stop at DHS?

Could you take the boat yo one of the resorts then take a bus to DTD and transfer?

The walk to the beach club to take there resort bus to DTD is actually faster than the walk to the friendship boat as the friendship boat is a little further away

Brillant!
I haven't checked the whole summer schedule but the last 3 weeks we were there Epcot closed at 9pm and DHS at 10pm. We left Epcot the other night at 8:50pm and I tried to talk did into taking the boat to DHS for fantasmic but it was a no go :( we got off at BWI.

Lol! Poor Dad! My DH went through this when my middle child was 6 and was riding on his shoulders from Fantasyland back to the hotel. It was the end of MNSSHP (and a full park day) and we were walking back to Bay Lake. I don't know if you know that walkway, but it's not short at the end of the night. We hadn't even reached the end of the buses when my son started patting his dad on the head and saying, "It's okay, Daddy. Not much longer." This was repeated throughout the walk - as if he knew DH needed a pep talk. I had tears streaming, I was laughing so hard!

Thanks for this map. I have been trying to figure out the best way to get from Beach Club Resort to Magic Kingdom and after looking at your map, I think I will just walk to Epcot and take the monorail from Epcot to the TTC and then the express monorail to Magic Kingdom.
