Yesterday my nephew got married and my son Ciaron was page boy and youngest DD Taylor was flower girl.Ciaron was also the ring bearer. He wore a kilt complete with the shirt waistcoat and jacket,he looked fantastic.I didn't see Taylors dress until we arrived at the brides house. It was purple, three layers of material made up the colour, she was gorgeous. She has waist length hair and it was put in ringlets and a few were wrapped around her head dress. The photographer said he hadn't worked with so cooperative children before. He thought they were brilliant.
Ciaron walked down the aisle holding a satin cushion with the wedding rings on it and gave them to the best man.He sat like an angel at the altar throughout the whole service and never moved.Taylor followed him down perfectly. They had NO rehearsals but they looked as if they had been practising for months.Taylor got a bit emotional during the service as we all did!!

I am sorry for bragging but my children made me so proud yesterday that I just had to tell you. When I get the photos I will hopefully have my scanner working and post some of the pictures.

Thank -you for reading and thanks to my wonderful children

It sounds like a wonderful day and you have every reason to be proud. I'm sure the bride and groom were overjoyed to have your children play such an important part in their special day. I bet it was a day your children will never forget:)

I don't think they will forget and I was overwhelmed with compliments about them at night. The bride and groom were very pleased with them. Can't wait for the photos!!:) ;)

How wonderful. By the way, I love your son's name. I was considering traditional Irish/Celtic names for my children. Not too traditional but my dd is Devon and my one son's middle name, which we frequently use is Ian.

Awww, they sound so sweet! Can't wait to see pics!

Bouncy - how do you pronounce the name Ciaron? I've never heard that name before!

That sounds like a very special day, Bouncy!! My congrats to the newly weds!!:D
