I just got back from the oncologist. He said my CT was just fine. Three years cancer free. I think I will be ordering my Kindle tonight. I am still a little hesitant. I am having trouble thinking about giving up the actual books. I am a bit of a Ludite when it comes to books.

But WOO HOO, less than two years and I will be officially cured.

Enjoy your Kindle and remember you can still curl up with good old fashioned paper when and if you ever want to.

I'm really considering one myself. THere will always be some books that I'll just have to buy, but so often - for lack of room - I'm passing on books that I don't want cluttering up the house to others. Those will be the type of books I'll use the Kindle for.

Congrats on the good news Kim! I like you, like the feel of a real book, but I decided to try out the Kindle app for my Ipod Touch and am reading a book on it now that I was interested in but not enough to purchase it out right. I like how it flows real easy to read on my touch so I am sure it works even better with the actual kindle.
