I was at the Disney Store yesterday...

and was looking to see what type of adult clothing they possibly could have since our Grand Rapids shopping trip was a bust last week. I was happy to see their t-shirts on sale for $9.99. I also picked up a Dory beanie for 50% off. When one of the CMs noticed Dory in my hands she asked me if I had seen the Nemo t-shirts. "No! Where are they?", I asked. "They're up here with the kids tees," she replied. "Oh."

I told her they need to carry more adult clothing. My face got kinda red, too, because I don't think I've ever been so verbal when I'm displeased at a store. I'm the kind of person who will not ask for help if I can't find something, if that says anything about me. Anyway, she said she agreed, and to be honest, they are supposed to be phasing adult clothing back in and phasing infant clothing out. She said they are beginning to realize that the adults want to buy stuff there too.

Well, I guess we'll just wait and see what happens. I was at least happy I got my Dory (love her!) and to get t-shirts for me and DH.

Well, that sounds great. I noticed a bit more here too, the last time I was in one of ours. Good news.

We just happened to be in the DS at a major mall close to Chicago and boy, was I disappointed. They'd moved the site from the original carpeted, intimate layout to a larger, hard tiled floor--more like a warehouse feel. Ick! Didn't like it at all. Not alot of adult stuff at that one yet--what they did have were items you could get at a Wal Mart for adults.
Well, I'll soon get my Disney fix at the Parks. I intend to do some serious shopping for "park only items". I love the unique and unusual!

Ours had started bringing the adult clothes in late last fall, for Christmas, then all that stuff started to disappear, leaving only adult night shirts behind. I hope ours follows the lead!!

I don't venture into the stores much now either. (Now I venture into the Disney Outlets. )
I have been to a few DS in this area.
A few months ago I was even able to buy a ladies denim shirt with characters! ON SALE!!! :happy2:
Just recent I was in a nearby DS. I recall only t-shirts and PJ's for adult clothing. (PJs half off. That is nice. )
Regular adult clothing would be better.

i was there thursday.. my we had a whole wall of tees for adults.. my mom got three pooh ones and i got a sparkly one with mickey on it.. i also got a beanbag thing... 75% easter stuff.. a cute little yellow bunny.. i believe its from the parent trap. the new one

I went to our local one Friday as well and was very lucky. I picked up ladies pj's for DD upcoming trip to Va. Beach for 50% off. I also got entire family w/exception of me Island Resort T-shirts for the boys and matching dresses for the girls for 25% off, a Donald beanie for 75% off, a Nemo soundtrack for 50% off, and a cute toddler Mickey outfit for 75% off. Total items-10 and total cost 90 dollars and some change, it was a deal to me and enough to satisfy my disney fix for a while, lol. They had some great Disney infant stuff for 50-75% off, I almost bought some for future grandchildren.....but seeing as my oldest is 15 and a close friend has certified me as nuts when I do this, I put it back!

My Store had more Adult around Christmas time than now, was just in there today. Bought Nothing! (At least they are still in business at this mall).
