I wanted to say thanks for the nasty email

I just rec'd a very nasty email regarding the thread about illegal immigrants. It didn't come as a PM, but went to the email address on my website which is listed in my profile.

No name was signed on it so I don't know who to thank personally but I'm sure you'll see this. I would hope that someone who would have the nerve to call me those names would have the nerve to identity themselves.

Don't mean to take up space here, but just wanted to ask whoever it was to refrain from doing it again.

What a cowardly thing to do. If I have something to say - I will say it to the person's face (well, type it). If it's not appropriate for the boards - I take it to PM.

I'm over it, it just irked me at the time because it was so chicken.
I thought about posting it here, but it's 4 lines and all have either an ethnic slur or curse words.

Hey Happy, don't let it bug you. I got some pretty downright evil and nasty emails sent to my work and home addresses. It got me riled up pretty bad at the time and it did occur for quite a while. I refuse to let it bother me any longer.

Just stick to your namesake and stay HAPPY!

That's his story, and he's stickin' to it. Make sure you don't go around accusing the innocent of sending those nasty, vicious, curse-filled e-mails, Happy. That would just compound a nasty situation.

I'm sure it wasn't the OP, Dawn. That's just not her style. She posts what she wants and doesn't worry about offending people. Maybe it was the one post person, but that was probably a long-time poster posing as a one-time poster if they sent the nasty e-mail. I could guess who it was, but no one would believe me. You are right. It isn't my style. I wouldn't write anything that I wouldn't sign my name to, and I wouldn't invade the personal space of anyone's email or PM with anything that wasn't supportive or complimentary. Frankly, I read all of the replies and while there were vastly different opinions, I didn't see anything that I would perceive as terribly hostile.....until I got to this thread and noted Laugh O Grams comments.
