I wanta be in pictures.........

I would like to take a picture of my family of 4. But I have always done in on "formal" night. I would like to take a more casual picture any suggestions? P.S. - not in bathing suits

A fantastic picture, that we loved was getting off the ship at CC. The ship was behind us, wow!! Just wear your coverup over the bathing suit and you'll be all set, a great family, casual shot.

You'll have lots of chances to get something more "casual". Like the other poster sauid, there's lots of ops when you get off in CC. Also, they take a photo of you and your crew as you are boarding the ship, so that might be a good one to. There are also lots of ops with the characters if that sounds like something you might want to do.

On our April 23rd Western, just about every night they had up a plain white background and were piling families together for a casual family shot. It was cute because it was on the days when you were just dressed for regular dinner so most families were in casual but nice clothes. They looked like they would be nice pictures.

That's what I was going to suggest too. We had one done of our 2 kids and it came out really cute ( on the 4/23 too!). They have everyone in the photo take off their shoes and socks and sit or lay on the floor. I noticed some families wore all the same color shirts. Red clothing came out really good against the white background. I don't have a scanner otherwise I would post it.

BTW, the last night they had a few backdrops set up, including the white one, and you could take your own pictures. Since it was too late for them to print out and sell photos the CM's took, they allowed guests to do their own.
The CM in Shutters was even suggesting to people to go do it on their own.

I absolutely love the pics they took of us with the white background. I get so many compliments when people see them in my foyer.

When you see the photographers you can always ask them to get a picture of you and your family! We do that on Castaway Cay.

Check out my DCL photo album for a couple ideas. My favorite is #5818 near the bottom of the page. It's my crew and I on the top deck at night. (I used a tripod and a self-timer to do it.)
