10 days for us! And so ready to go i need a break i have been packing my house for our move, plus packing for the trip and trying to find somewhere to live all for the last 2 weeks! I haven't been able to devote my final weeks to prepare for our trip and that is my favorite part! Other than actually being there!

3 weeks from today, my family and I will be arriving for our Disney vacation!

I'm afraid I have an embarrassing secret though..my 12 year old daughter has had a really rough year. She was a GREAT kid, helpful, even tempered, with good judgement, until she turned 12. Call it hormones, or just plain bad behavior..it all boils down to, she's been trying our patience, and behaving like a troll. I'm so worried that she is going to act like a total tool during my happiest vacation ever. I keep telling her to act like a princess. So far all I've gotten is resistance and grief.

Hang in there!! Your trip will be here before you know it!! Mine right now seems light years away! We are going in November 2011!! I can't beleive I have to wait that long, but its nice to be planning for a trip in the works too!!

My next trip isn't until September but I don't want to wish my summer away.

I was just there in January and it feels like so long ago!

To be honest, don't push it TOO much... just explain that the vacation is really important to you, and then ask here if there is anything like Disney Quest or rides that she wants to do and make an effort to give her some "princess" time.

I.E, Out of 17 days, my Dbf gets one day to be a "Princess" and we don't even have an ADR that day... we're gonna wing it!

I hear ya. Trip planned for November. I couldn't wait that long so heading to the AKV for a quick 4 day trip in May! Even THAT's too far away!

I plan FAR in advance so now that it is getting a little bit closer, I find myself checking & re-checking everything and re-thinking my itinerary!!!
