I'm back earlier than expected to update all of you on what I've been up to. Saturday, Madison had a feis in Rochester and she did quite well. She got 2nd place on her Single Jig, 4th place on her Reel and 5th place on her Jig. That means that she has gotten a medal for all of her dances so far in 2010! Once she gets a 1st, 2nd or 3rd on a dance she will move up in that dance next year. So far, she'll be moving up in her Slip Jig and Single Jig (the 2 hardest dances).

After the feis was all over, Madison and I drove to Syracuse for a family reunion (my dad's side). We had a lot of fun and Madison got to play with a lot of her cousins (3rd cousins).

Vacation Bible School started on Monday and the theme this year is High Seas Expedition (kind of pirate themed). I took a few pics of the set on Monday and it's pretty awesome.

The boat takes up the entire stage! My jaw dropped when I saw it for the first time Monday morning.

Here's a pic I took of Madison when we got home today.

I also got the shirts I ordered from the Disney Store and Madison's new "Guide to the Magic" on Monday.

In case you didn't hear Vera Bradley has a sale going on right now (ends today). You could get either the large backpack or the messenger bag for $40. The backpack is normally $92 so that's quite a deal. I received the email on Monday about the sale, but I didn't pounce on it right away. Well, Monday night I was reading a TR (Katie's-BibbityBoo) and noticed that she bought one. When I checked the VB website, they were already sold out of my 2 favorite colors (Call Me Coral & Night and Day). So.....I ordered the backpack in Carnaby!!!! Of course there was tax and shipping, but it was still the deal of a lifetime! I LOVE my VB hipster, but I'll bring the backpack along on our trip too. I can't wait to get it in the mail!!!

If she moves up in one more dance, she will get a new dress and a wig! No more hours of curling her hair!!

We all wore nametags to the reunion. My grandfather had quite a few siblings, so there are lots of people that I don't really know.

The ship is so cool. I just had to take pictures of it.

She's doing really well. I'm very proud of her. The "Guide to the Magic" is so cool and I wish I had one too. They have a lot of fun info in there.

The VB is the deal of the century! I'm so excited about the backpack. The Guide is the best book for kids. There is so much for them to do with that book. I highly recommend using it throughtout the WS. The CM's are so great and usually write something in their native language. VBS has been fantastic. I can't believe there is only one day left!

The Guide is fantastic. There is a sticker and rating system for each attraction, journal pages, spots for passport stamps around WS...it's awesome. I think all of your boys would enjoy it (the older 2 definately). I think you could buy 2. Would your older 2 allow Cole to put stickers on for the rides he can go on?

VBS is awesome, but today was the hottest day of them all. This is the 6th year in a row I have volunteered and today was the hottest I've ever been. Tomorrow is water balloons all day and it's awesome. They have slingshots that they use to fling the balloons and it's a lot of fun.

The ship is truly amazing. We have a great team of very creative people that come up with the sets each year. Once VBS ends tomorrow, they will start thinking about next year!!

VBS has been fantastic. The kids are really loving the theme this year.

Vera does usually have some great deals every now and then, but the backpack deal was fantastic. A few days before my birthday they had a one day sale on the hipster and I almost bought another one. They just came out with a new hipster and I don't like it!

Awesome! I wonder if we'll cross paths at all. Thanks so much for reading! To upgrade to the basic dining plan from the quick service is $10/adult/night and $2/child (3-9)/night. For our family of three, it was only $154 for the entire week. SOOOO worth it!!!

Congratulations to Madison! I took advantage of the VB sale too, to order my first VB. I ended up with the Messenger bag instead of the back pack but I almost got it instead. Looking forward to getting mine as well!
