"I Want To Go Back!!!"....a Sept 2010 PTR(upd 10/12-TR Started!)

Great that you can get your braces on tomorrow! It does sound really interesting! It's hard that when you don't wear your retainers your teeth shift back. I wore mine religiously until my morning sickness with DD, and then I stopped. Every once and awhile I put them on and my teeth HURT in the morning!

I stopped wearing my retainers because they kept falling out of my mouth at night. So, instead of telling my parents that I might need to go back to the orthodontist, I just ignored the entie situation. I need to remember to take some advil before my appointment tomorrow!

Oh, and I forgot, I am super excited! I'll be at 7 weeks this Thursday. Seven weeks! I try not to rush it in my mind though, because I'm very much a "I don't want to rush my life away" person, and J.J. will be almost FOUR when we go! So I'm appreciating all these last days of 3 1/2 Yes, I'm crazy. I know it.

I can hardly wait! I don't like to rush my life away either, so I have to remind myself to slow down and just enjoy the day. Madison will be a few weeks away from her 8th birthday when we go! Time just goes by too fast. We will be at exactly 7 weeks TOMORROW!!

Meghan, I cannot believe you pick out your clothes for each day. You are WAY organized. How awesome! My kids are at the age that they like to choose their own clothing so that wouldn't work for us anymore.

The wedding was so pretty. How wonderful you are *this close* to your trip!!

Organized or crazy? Maybe I'm a little bit of both. If I didn't plan ahead, I would probably end up changing my clothes 3-4 times before we left the hotel. I can never make up my mind! Plus, when I plan ahead, I don't need to worry about overpacking. In the past, for a week long trip, I'd bring enough clothes for 2 weeks! I always liked to have options...especially for the last day. That's always the worst when you have one clean shirt left and you just don't even want to wear it.

The wedding was so fantastic. I can't believe how close my trip is!

I also decided to go back in your PTR to see what your schedule was like to see if we would run into each other and I don't think I realized that we're staying at the same resort and that we'll be there all but one of the same days (you get there the day before us)! I bet we'll run into each other in the bus lines or at the mug station, for sure!

Haha!!! I was really hoping to get to Duff's (my fav wing place) before I got my braces (not allowed to eat chicken wings ). Well, since I moved up my appointment, that won't be happening. At least I had some popcorn at the drive-in the other night and I chewed my last piece of gum this morning.

We have a standard room and I requested 50's poolside (only half the poolside rooms are preferred). I am so excited to be back at Pop!

We have not requested yet, but we're debating what exactly to request. I really want to be in the 80's/90's on the first floor with a pool view. How best to get all of that accomplished in one request, I'm not sure yet. DH thinks maybe we should request 1st floor 80s walkman building because he feels like there's not a bad room with that request. I really want to be by that pool though! I'll be be sure to let you know if whatever we request works, since I'll be having you request that for us the next few trips as well, I'm sure.

There really isn't a bad place to stay at Pop. The 80's/90's are very close to the bus stop (you can cut through the parking lot) and nothing is that far from Classic Hall. Have you checked out the Pop Century thread? It's amazing! We stayed in the 60's last time (preferred) and it was fantastic. I love stuff from the 50's, so that's why we want to stay over there.

Ah yes, keep me posted about what location you like at Pop!!!

Well, I got my braces on yesterday and I'm not enjoying it. I'm in so much pain! I've been taking ibuprofen since yesterday, but I actually just ran out and bought some Aleve. Nothing is taking away this horrible feeling!!!!

In happier news.....

I just called and made an appointment for Madison at the BBB!!! We're going to surprise her with it and I'm so excited! We're just getting the Coach Pkg (hair and make-up). I made the appt at the DTD location the day of MNSSHP!!!! She decided that she wants to be Jasmine, so my mom is making her a costume. She's going to look so cute! Now, I just have to figure out what shoes for her to wear with her costume all night.

I totally stinks, but I know the end result is worth it. Just wish my pain relievers I've taken would do what they're supposed to do!!!

For some people, the pain lasts 1-2 weeks! I'm hoping that this pain will be gone in a few days. I can hardly eat anything because it hurts so bad to chew. It was even difficult to eat string cheese yesterday. So, I've been eating applesauce and smoothies.

She is going to love her surprise. I'm so excited that the BBB now has photopass photographers!

She's going to be a great Jasmine. She has a Jasmine costume for her American Girl doll. I'm not sure if she's going to bring her doll or not...hmm...we'll see.

I know it will be weird to wear braces again, but at least they will be tooth colored brackets and wires. With 6 Month Smiles, they don't do anything to your back teeth. At my appointment each month, they will take off the wires and then use floss with diamonds in it to file off a teeny bit of my teeth. That little bit they take off allows the teeth to move. It's really neat!

Permanent retainers are included in the price of my braces too. They will also give me those clears retainers to wear at night. I have to wear them every night for 6 months and then only a few nights a week for the rest of my life. My ortho also includes teeth whitening after I get my braces off.

Sounds like a pretty good deal! Nice that they throw in the whitening.

I have more news again! I just made an ADR for the new Via Napoli!!!! They just started taking reservations today and I'm so excited. We will have to pay OOP for 2 meals now, but we got so many gift cards for our birthday that we need something to use them for!
