I want to do something fun for NYE!

Last year we were fortunate to be able to go to Charleston, SC for two nights. We had a great time and ate seafood, etc. The weather was unimaginably warm for January and we actually were able to go in short sleeves!
This year we only have one night if we were able to go spend the night somewhere so it would have to be closer to home. We thought about Asheville, NC or Gatlinburg, TN which is a little far. We also thought about Savannah, Ga, but that is just as far as Charleston, SC
I just can't think of any fun things to do for NYE in the upstate of South Carolina. Anybody have any ideas?

why not order some good seafood on line and have it delivered and have a party at home.......maybe invite a few people in
