I want to chill at the Beach in Grand Cayman? where?

DW, Myself and DD12 and DS8.
We want to just chill, relax and let the kids swim. I'd like to enjoy some adult beverages for sure.

i'm open to taxi or excursion, but prefer to just get a taxi and do it on our own.

What would you recommend?

We didn't do it, but we planned on heading to Tiki Beach in GC, just going by taxi. Wish we had done it!

We took a taxi from the port to the Royal Palms beach club. The taxi part was very easy! You just walk over and there a bunch of vans lined up. As soon as your van fills up, they take you on your way.

Our driver kept recommending a free beach instead of the club and many people were headed to that beach. He stopped at the club for us but made it clear that he didn't agree with going there. We had reserved a cabana in advance. It really wasn't as nice as I'd hoped so I don't recommend it, especially for families. There were several young adult groups from the Carnival ship that were partying and it wasn't the right atmosphere for our DD8 and DS6. Renting chairs closer to the water line might be better.

I've heard that a couple of the resorts along Seven Mile Beach offer day passes. They may offer what you are hoping for.

Back in the summer of 2014, we did the Western cruise, and stopped in Grand Cayman. We booked with Resorts for a Day at the Westin Grand Cayman, took a cab at the port and loved it. Had full use of the beach and pool and activities, and the best part: we had a day room to use! We were able to leave our stuff in the room, and use the shower before heading back to the ship. Super easy and would do it again in a heartbeat! (and there was free wifi) To clarify, the day room was a regular hotel room- tv, bed, shower, clean towels, etc.
