I want a Segway!

Ever since I took the Segway tour in September I want more! I would love to buy one, but at $4000 that will never happen.

I guess that's why my wife doesn't let me go to Best Buy that often either. I am a technology junkie. I have to have or try all the cool toys.

I missed my calling, I should be a technology tester. I see all these fake banners for product testers, I wish one was real. I love technology and finding ways to make things faster or better.

I was just on ebay looking at Segways. That's how bad it is! I live 40 minutes from the company, do you think they'll give me one for a week?

My DH was the same way! And even though you can get snow tires for them, he decided that Minnesota winters and Segways don't mix. Now if we lived in southern California, it might be different!

I was thinking after my post, is a Segway something you would use much or is it a toy that you would use for a month or so and then it would end up in the corner of the basement.

Does anyone own a Segway? What do you use it for?

I'm glad you enjoyed the Segway tour--it's a lot of fun!

I think after that wonderful surprise that you planned for your wife she should let you buy what you want! But, like most husbands, I think you are out of luck!

DH and I also loved our Segway tour at Epcot. I toyed with the idea of getting one but when I tried to figure out what I would use it for, I decided against it. It just isn't practical for where I live and for the type of errands I run.
