"I wanna be a frump too!!!" {Dec 8-11, 2012}UPDATED 3/23

After we were reunited with my aunt and uncle we headed towards new fantasyland for we had reservations at the BE OUR GUEST Restaurant! We were beyond excited! There's a funny story behind getting those reservations as well. Before Disney was taking reservations we had been calling them practically everyday asking when they would be taking reservations. When we knew the date, I set my alarm to wake up super early to call and try to get reservations. I must have called 300 times on two different phones and had no luck! I went to work with a migrane. After 15 minutes of being at work Kayla called me and said that we got reservations... and for the time we wanted as well! I couldn't believe her! She said she was on her break at work and tried to call once and she got through! My migrane started to lessen with thoughts of actually being able to dine in the castle!!!!

I couldn't believe that the dream was actually becoming a reality!

I absolutely loved seeing this beautiful mosaic when I walked inside... gorgeous!

We were seated in the grand ballroom! I don't think that any picture can do this place justice! You must go and see it for yourself!

Here we are with the menu! It was a culinary cabaret! (HAHA)

I loved that the napkin was a rose!

We ordered our meal... we all got the steak! A few minutes later the host came to greet us all!

I loved that the desserts were presented in these rolling trays... so fancy and so be our guest!

When making the reservation we said it was my aunt's birthday... so she got a taste of "the grey stuff..."

We all chose the Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake.... delish!!!

We got to go in the west wing!!!

After dinner we got a picture with the beast!

I really enjoyed this restaurant alot and would go back in a heart beat! Everything was great... the food... atmosphere... service! And I was also impressed because the restaurant had JUST opened when we went! I was afraid that there was going to be too much hype and it would be a letdown... but that wasn't the case... we had an awesome experience!

Afterwards we got to see Gaston's tavern and also the gift shop which had so much awesome merchandise... I wanted it all!!! But what would happen next would be the highlight of the evening...

So we left the gift shop and there was a fountain with Gaston's statue. I look to my right and I SEE Gaston! I said " Kayla...we HAVE to get our picture with him!!!" Gaston spots us and says "Sparkle shirts come over here..." both of us lost it. Gaston said "Ladies you are as beautiful as my biceps!" HAHAHAHAHAH!!!! LOL!!! I said "These biceps are padded!" and Gaston said "I've been eating at the bakery in town too much" LOL
Awesome moment and we got an even more awesome picture!

So we left the gift shop and there was a fountain with Gaston's statue. I look to my right and I SEE Gaston! I said " Kayla...we HAVE to get our picture with him!!!" After meeting Gaston (LOVE) we headed over to the Little Mermaid ride and checked the wait time... it was less than 30 min! Big surprise because new fantasyland had JUST officially opened four days before. I think we just got lucky. I thought that the ride was "cute" but I thought it could have been better IMO. The ride stopped several times while we were on it as well. All in all I still enjoyed riding it because the little mermaid is one of my favorite movies!

Afterwards it was getting very close to 7PM (the official start of the party) and cast members were weeding out people that did not have Christmas party wrist bands on. I was very happy to see that they followed through with this rule... the tickets are $60 a person so only people that paid for the party should be able to stay.

Since we were all adults we didn't really care about meeting most of the characters (and we had gotten most of their pictures when we were on the cruise) so we took the time before the parade/fireworks to go on rides. OH MY GOSH was it awesome... there was NO LINES for anything!!!! #happiness!
We went on Splash mountain and thunder mountain 3 times each and went right on the ride! When we were walking through the queue for thundermountain, almost everyone was singing Christmas songs! What an awesome moment! everyone was just so happy!

Afterwards we went to get our "free" cookie and cocoa... not impressed haha... they all went in the trash LOL!

As we were walking it was cool to see the seven dwarfs out and also some of the princesses with their princes.

I was also on the lookout for sparkly red and green minnie ears that I had seen so many girls wearing but I could not track them down anywhere!

Next we rode Aladdin's magic carpet ride... All four of us went in one carpet and OMG the ride would not go up all the way... and when it did... it wouldn't stay there! HAHHAAH

We also rode pirates of the caribbean and then went to find a spot for the parade/fireworks. I couldn't believe all of the people that we there! In hindsight we should have started waiting a little earlier but we thought if we got there before the first parade... some people would leave after the fireworks and then we would get a good spot for the second parade... but NO! LOL! It was a sea of people!!!

We watched the fireworks with a tree directly in front of us and then we moved to try to get good spot for the parade. So many people were aggravated because of cast members rudeness when telling us where we could and could not stand (This was reported to MK afterwards) Sorry to take away from any of the magicalness but this is what happened.

I will say that the fireworks were magical!!!! OMG SO AMAZING

So then it was time for the parade! LOVED everything about it and my favorite part was all of the smells on the different floats... so cool!!!

My aunt and uncle called it a night but Kayla and I decided to book it to space mountain! There was somewhat of a line but not bad... then we went on the buzz lightyear ride which was fun!

As we were leaving the park for the night it was SNOWING on main street!!! #LOVE

I know We found a spot to stand for the parade and had been waiting there for almost an hour and when the parade was about to start a CM came up to us and said we could not stand there because it was a preferred viewing area... the CM was coming with the signs 5 min before the parade?!?! and then she said that we would have to find somewhere else to watch the parade... ummm yeah try finding a place 5 min before the parade when we had been waiting an hr. SMH! When we told management about this, he apologized and said that the CM should have gave us other options of where we could view the parade. but that was not done... oh well... it was still awesome and of course I would do it again someday but when you pay $60 extra... you expect to be able to see the parade ahah!!

We slept in a little bit today because we had been going non-stop since we got here! We decided to head to Epcot and ride some of the rides in future world and hang out in world showcase...

We got fast passes for Soarin' and then rode test track. Afterwards it was time to use our fast pass... things were looking up for us!

Afterwards we walked around World Showcase! I loved how everything was decorated for Christmas...

We started with Canada. On our last trip we didn't get to see the Canada film which was a HUGE bummer because I had promised my Dad that I would. See when I went to Disney when I was 8 we went to the Canada movie and I HATED it. I sat down and pouted the whole time. So I promised I would see it again hahah! I enjoyed it this time... Kayla was the one sitting on the floor HAHAH "Canada... my canada... you're a lifetime journey for the traveler..."

We went into the America Pavillion and listened to the singers from Voices of Liberty... they were singing Christmas Carols! So awesome! My favorite was Silver Bells!

England! We stopped and had lunch at Yorkshire Fish shop... my family had been RAVING about how good the fish and chips are so I had to try them on this trip! and yes they were good!! We were in line... and all of a sudden I saw ms. poppins! I bolted and left Kayla to order ahahha! "I'm practically perfect... in every way..."

Germany!

We stopped and took a picture with this fine fella! hahahah!

Norway! We rode the Maelstrom! It was so funny because after the ride Kayla RAN through the area where they were about to show the video on Norway... the doors were about to close and Kayla started saying "No No NOOOO!!!" HAHAHAH luckily we got out of there in time!

VIVA Mexico! We decided to get Margaritas... which turned out to be a BAD idea since they were SO strong! ahahah yikes! I ended up throwing mine out half way... I know... shameful because they were $10 a piece but I just couldn't drink it anymore.

After getting our drinks it started to rain... and then pour... LOL

Once the rain let up a bit we rode Mission space... I had never ridden it before and it will probably be the last time I will. The ride is just too enclosed for me and I am not a claustrophobic person! Afterwards we had a bit of time left so we went to test track one more time!

Had a little time to spare so we went in a gift shop!

Pluto!!!

Once we were done at Epcot we took the boat over to the beach club because we had dinner reservations at Cape May Cafe!

It lasted maybe 20 min and it was the only time it rained on our whole trip so I think you will be fine
