John, I've been meaning to ask how the DIS meet at Polaris went last weekend, but time flies... wasn't it weekend before last??? Your update about your crutchless condition reminded me!

I live 5 minutes from Polaris, but my DD had her 11th birthday sleepover that night. I should have told y'all to come to the bowling alley at 11:00 after dinner, then I could have met you! (Even if you couldn't bowl!) We'll be O/T on Memorial Day, so visiting Cleveland is not an option. I don't know when I'll get to me you and Helenabear and other Ohioans.

Please don't wait too long for another Ohio meet after Memorial Day, and for goodness sake, take care of yourself!!!

Robin - I don't work for the government (unless paying income tax counts). I think that the internet problems were worldwide yesterday due to the new worm that was clogging computers. I sure hope that things are better today because I don't plan on driving to work.

The Polaris DISmeet was a bust. I guess that it was a bad time for everyone because nobody else was able to show up. My wife and daughter and I had a wonderful meal at Applebee's, so it wasn't a total loss. And I didn't break any bones, so I guess that my DISmeet curse has been lifted.
